Booking and Cancellation Policy
Unless approval is given by the Manager, Okarito Beach House accepts payment from guests at the time of booking. This is either online through our booking system, or processed manually when booking by phone or email. All individual bookings must be made with a credit card.
Bookings cancelled up to 2 days (48 hours) prior to booking will be eligible for a full refund. Credit card payments will only be refunded back to the card they were made with. For bookings cancelled within 2 days of booking the first nights accomodation will be charged and the remainder refunded.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is available from 2pm onwards on the day of booking. If you are likely to arrive after 8pm please make sure you advise us in advance. Check-out time is 10am.
Each room at the Okarito Beach House can be reserved for either 1 or 2 people. In the Hutel and Rimu House this cannot be increased due to space restrictions.
In Summit Lodge the twin room can be made up with 3 single beds for an extra $20 / night for the third person. The cost of the extra bed will include linen, towels and bathroom amenities for the additional person.
All children under the age of 2 stay free of charge, however it is the responsibility of the parent to provide a baby cot.
All rooms at the Okarito Beach House are smoke-free. This includes guest rooms and indoor shared spaces. If you do smoke we request you do so well away from doors and windows. A cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
